Hi !
1st question:
If I play a card that targets a number of targets up to a certain value (like Shuten Doji's Fury) and my opponent plays Misdirection on it, can he target 0 card (or a different number than me) ?
In lotus, the answer was 'no' but with Misdirection's new wording...

2nd question:
I wanted to come on the Determination vs Determination subject.
If I target Hida Kuon with Hired Killer and target one of my samurai to play Determination on the Hired Killer, can my opponent play Determination on Seat of Power's reaction to be able to redirect the Hired Killer even if Determination has been played on it ? Which Determination would beat the other ?

Well, you never get to choose a number in the first place. Misdirection's wording now has it kick in "before" you get to do any targeting.
He has to choose at least the minimum number of targets a card specifies, since the minimum number is considered to be the "mandatory" targeting.
Shuten Doji's Fury has a most recent printing of: "Bow one or more target cards ..."
So he's have to pick at least one, but he can pick just one, even if you intended to pick more.

I would be inclined to say the last one to be played would "trump" the other, but I'll forward it up to the entire Rules Team proper to give you the official word on that.

Roger has confirmed this answer, and we'll be adding the proper notation to the Comprehensive Rules to make it clear.
