Commanding Favor

L5R CCG Rules board, 29 July 2007 to 30 July 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

I cannot use Commanding Favor to move a target attacking enemy unit home if I have already used the Imperial Favor to do so that turn, correct?

It is that you can't use Commanding Favor so much as you can't use the Rulebook Ability: "Political Battle: Discard the Imperial Favor: Move a target attacking enemy unit home." more than Once Per Turn. The rule that "Each separate ability can only be used once per turn by default." applies to both Card Abilities and Rulebook abilities alike.
