Re: Navel and Stronghold ability.

L5R CCG Rules board, 24 July 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

and it accured to me. The Mantis stronghold that allows you to play equipment and followers as a battle/open action. Am I allowed to play a peice of armor or weapon or a follower on a personality with Navel as a navel action or Am I just restricted to the Navel card itself to perform the following action?

My assumption is No, because the stronghold isn't a "Navel Card". but then again, I can see the argument where if it would attach to a navel personality It would be considered an action since it is considered a battle/open action that a target navel personality is doing. Thx.

Limited: Any number of times per turn, target one of your Personalities: Attach a target attachment card from your hand to him (paying all costs).

The standard Equip action is performed by the personality equipping the attachment.
