A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Rules Archive, Timing: "For actions that cause you to take another action, the latter action is separate and occurs after the first action is resolved."
I just wanted to ask for future reference, then. Will this ruling on timing of cards that create the opportunity to play additional actions continue into Samurai Edition, or is it a Lotus ruling, and a new and different one will be made for Samurai Edition? Just making sure I'll have a full understanding of the rules right from the start.

Unknown at this time. Working on it.

Ah, yes. Check under "Additional" in the Comprehensive Rules Glossary. I was pretty sure it was already in there, but I couldn't find it at the time.
