For the up coming Samuri Edition I have been reading up on the changes and key word changes for the game and noticed that "Ratling" was left out. To this effect I was wondering if it is a fluff trait or has the effect of giving ratling imunity to the shadowlands trait and resistance to fear or was that just a stronghold ablity?

Ratling is no longer a faction under Samurai Edition rules. There are no other changes to what the keyword does that I am aware of (they're subtle if any).
