My friend just bought the Spider Clan deck and put Daigotsu in it. I realize he is the leader of the Spider Clan and for non-tournaments we let him play Daigotsu, but he reads that he will only join a shadowlands player, is there a ruling on his card now being Spider Clan?

The Spider Clan does not currently have a Lotus Legal clan champion. A Spider Clan player is not a Shadowlands player.
