truest test dueling question

L5R CCG Rules board, 27 May 2007 to 29 May 2007

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

in the paper that comes with the truest test it says that duels unless specified as killling will no longer as a default kill. so what happens to the current dueling cards when this rule comes into effect.

for example doji kurohito-crane in battles your duelest gain the ability once per battle issue a duel. so this duel would not killl since it doesnt say what it does right? any imput would be nice since this rule is going to ruin a deck type for about a month.
