A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

According to the General Rulings release with The Truest Test:
"All Terrains are played as Immediate Terrains; effects formerly written as Delayed Terrains will instead explicitly resolve as delayed effects"
1)Does this mean that if a Delayed Terrain is played its effects occur before resolution even if the terrain is destroyed during battle?
2)If the answer to question 1 is no, then what is the difference between a Delayed Terrain(prior to TTT) and an Immediate Terrain whose effects are delayed?

That rule is in place for cards beginning with Khan's Defiance. It is not retroactive to cards that say "Delayed Terrain" printed before that set.
