When a Ninja card is flipped face-down, is it considered an Unaligned card or is it still the clan it would be when face-up? Also... the cost of a face-down Ninja is 4 gold... if they are considered of their specific clan, can I pay 2 gold as a reduced cost?

Lotus rules, pg. 58: "While face-down in play or in a Province, a Ninjutsu Personality is a Personality with 2F, 3C, an Honor Requirement of “–”, a Gold Cost of 4, a Personal Honor of 0, and the Ninja trait."
Note the lack of any words saying that it gains faction traits.
Also note that it is not Unaligned.
