Sentai No Oni ability and once per turn

This is a question on rules I was told but I can not find; The local shop owner I started going to for L5R events again told me since I been gong L5R changed their Ability Usage, so I was told since Lotus nothing can be used more then once unless stated otherwise.

My question's Are.

Is this True?

If so does it apply to everything with the lotus bug or just Everything After the "Lotus Edition" Was released?

And grounds for my question is.

Sentei no Oni [15F] [4c] phr - G\C (16) Ph 0

Battle: Target an opposing Non-Unique Card. Destroy It. IF you Used this Ability Previously this battle, move Sentei no Oni home before the Resolution Segment.

With that text how its worded on the card Is there a Errata? and or IS this card Just a all out nuke the board?,

I was told since Lotus nothing can be used more then once unless stated otherwise. Is this True?

Lotus rules, pg. 20: "All actions are usable only once per turn."
