Can a player play Fury of the Dark Lord, target all of my face down ninja, and then not pay the 15 gold cost allowing the action to fail?
As I understand the order in which actions are performed this works. And would deprive me of the ability to use my stronghold force pump. As well as flip ninjas to keep them safe from the threat of his paying the gold cost.
Did I miss something?

If he announces the action, and the cost is not changed or interfered with, he MUST pay the 15 gold for it.
