hey, tried using search, and didnt find an answer for my question.
if i use Akodo Sadahige's battle action to take an action card, can the action i use from the discard pile be tactical, or does the use of the battle ability take up his one tactical use per turn? and if this is the case, could i do something along the lines of using a Warrior Pilgrim to do the first action and then using his Tactical to use the action card?

No, because Warrior Pilgrim is played "After this Personality performs a Tactical action," so every effect has to resolve completely, including removing the card from the game.
