Akodo Sadahige, again.

L5R CCG Rules board, 2 April 2005

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from the Wayback Machine (its copy), so posts it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

A player, 2 April 2005

1. Is the action to play a terrain the one that's printed on the card, or (like Formations) is the action to play a terrain considered to be a rulebook action?

2. Can I play an Immediate Terrain via Sadahige's action?

3. If so, do I resolve the action's effects and then remove the terrain from the game, or does the terrain remain in play until the end of the battle, at which point it gets removed from the game?

4. Can I play a Delayed Terrain via Sadahige's action?

5. If so, do I resolve the action's effects immediately and then remove the terrain from the game, or does the terrain remain in play, resolve at the normal point for Delayed Terrains, and get removed from the game at the end of the battle?

6. For either type of terrain, if the answer is that the terrain is played, resolved and immediately removed from the game, can I play the terrain even if there is a terrain in play?
