I have trouble beliving that I have to ask this, but here it goes:

Price of Power
This card remains in play in your home.
Limited: Discard this card: target a unit you control and a unit with equal or lower total Gold cost controlled by another player. Destroy them.

Is destroing your own personailty a cost? Or can one use surge to save their personailty, and still have the other effect go off? Art Reid ruled that it is a cost to kill your own personality, so I am confused, I thought that using the new templating it is only an effect?
