Is the honor gain from a Proclaim action from the rulebook or from my action?
Honor Gain From Proclaim
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
Is the honor gain from a Proclaim action from the rulebook or from my action?
Always the Rulebook, although sometimes also from the Rulebook Recruit action, if that's the action in question.
From the CR: "Proclaiming gives the Proclaim keyword to the recruiting action. Honor gains from Proclaiming are from the rulebook Recruit action, or from the rulebook Recruit procedure if the action calling it was on a card."
