2015 - Shiho and it's Attachments

L5R CCG Rules board, 9 September 2015 to 11 September 2015

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

A player, 9 September 2015

This used to be the ruling with Shiho who had an attachment and then used their Battle Action to "bury" someone.

Shiho would go on top of your Dynasty Deck, while the attachment would go on top of your Fate Deck. 2014 - Shiho Ruling

But last night it was mentioned now that if Shiho leaves play and goes on top of your deck the attachments are no longer attached to anything and then become Discarded (I think that was the wording, not destroyed).

Is this true? Or should the attachments go back on top of your deck like in 2014?

The rules regarding the behaviour of attachments when their Personality leaves play have not changed.

See Unit: If a unit or Personality changes location in play, all attached cards go with him or her. If a Personality leaves play (for example, by being destroyed), all cards in the unit leave play in the same way.
