So in a match up, some one tried using open ground as the defender and move my personality who originally assigned there, but cav to a different province and I took that province. The rule book states that a personality who was in an attacking army during resolution will not move to a battlefield; however my opponent was saying as long as it's the defenders action he can move my already bowed unit from resolution back to his battle. I honestly wasn't sure, so I just went with it, but I would like to know officially if that is true.

The No Second Battle Rule makes no reference to whose card effect would move the Personality: A Personality who has already been in an attacking army during a battle resolution in the current Attack Phase will not move to a battlefield.
