I was wondering if I pay with platinum mine for the attachment which costs 2G, how much gold left I will have to spend this phase , three or four?

You may have the Platinum Mine produce 6G, which may only be used to pay for a single attachment, after which anything left over is lost.

You may have the Platinum Mine produce 5G, which is spent and enters your gold pool normally.

If you're paying for an attachment that costs 4G or less, you will always want to choose the second option, which leaves you with 5 minus the gold spent in your pool.
