The targeting paradoxes section of the CR didn't exist at the time (so really, we had no way to guarantee that a card like No Hiding Place would ever work). Your targeting constraint at this point is that the force of the unit targeted by Rewards of Experience has to be less than yours; therefore, it's only a legal target when you use the Hidden Dagger.
The ruling on A Champion's Strike isn't explicitly mentioned in this answer, so just to be clear, is this to say that the addition of targeting paradoxes to the CR reverses the original ruling?
The original poster had asked:
Lets say I have a 3 Force Unique Samurai and my enemy has fifteen 2 force followers in play. Can I announce Champions Strike, interrupt with Hidden Dagger, and destroy them all?
The ruling was that, no, you can't. Has this changed?
If so, great! If not, my original question stands as to what distinguishes Rewards of Experience from A Champion's Strike in terms of Hidden Dagger/targeting restrictions.
