Palmer is a Moderator on this Forum and, specifically, in the Rules Forum.
No user was Warned. A Nudge (purple text, unlike the current red text, which does indicate a Warning) was issued by Palmer to head off something like 696 separate questions about use of the word "only."
Using the word "retarted" is actually offensive. Nobody jumped down anyone's throat. Again, Palmer made a nudge to head something off before it started. He did not warn a user for asking a question.
