A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

So as i understand the rules resolution effects resolve as the active player wants them to. Now does the active player have to resolve them in the order in which they can only be done? Here's an example.
Player A: Plays Holding cells on a magistrate personality Player B: Plays The Tale of the Disgraced on said magistrate personality and then later un bows them before resolution.
So in this instance would player A who played holding cells be able to resolve TotD before Holding Cells even though the personality is not yet bowed?

Yes. Since you may straighten an unbowed Personality anyway, player A may choose to apply Tale of the Disgraced's straighten effect, then Holding Cells' bow effect.
