Yoritomo Sensei & Gold Pooling

Good day,

My question is regarding the gold pooling using Yoritomo Sensei and a Unicorn stronghold that produces 5 gold. As per the effect of Yoritomo Sensei, the Stronghold will produce 1 less gold for a personality; however lets say I use the Gold produced to buy a 1G Holding, is it still legal for me to pool the 4 excess gold to buy a 4G Personality?

Card Title: Yoritomo Sensei Keywords: All Clans Text: Your Gold-producing Holdings enter play for you for 1 less Gold, to a minimum of 1. When bowing your Stronghold to pay for a Personality, it produces 1 less Gold.
