The kata card Respect, from Aftermath, mentions paying 2 more gold if a personality's HR is lower than the player's current family honor. Is this now a moot trait for Ivory Edition, since you always must meet HR to Recruit a personality, or does it allow you to Recruit for 2 more gold? If the latter, this kata will be killer in a high honor corruption deck.
Respect Kata and meeting HR
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Neither, actually.
It's a Kata for a player who has caused his opponent Honor losses. After doing so, per the Rules, his opponent ignores Personalities' HRs. However, the Kata will force that opponent to pay 2 extra Gold for such Personalities, should he not be meeting their HR.
