Big Deck/Legacy Questions

L5R CCG Rules board, 14 August 2014 to 15 August 2014

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Hi, just a couple of questions to clear up a few interactions.

Current rules now flip all provinces simultaneously? Does that mean if I flip 2 Celestials both enter play?

If I have 4 events in my provinces after I flip them, in what order are they resolved?

Minor thing that crossed my mind while typing: Do rings in Big Deck and/or Legacy require entering play by their own text in order to count for Enlightenment?

Yes, currently so.

Assuming you're asking about the classic kind which now have traits that trigger at the start of your turn to simulate the old Events Phase, then that would be your choice as active player.

Sort of. Any effect from SE through EE that puts a Ring into play, when that Rule was in effect, should have text added via Oracle that "while this Ring remains in play, it doesn't count for an Enlightenment Victory". If any such effect still doesn't, it will by the time Oracle conversion to Ivory standards is complete.
