If for some reason you've stacked multiple Clout Tokens on a personality, and they attack or use an ability which would trigger Kuroko's honor gain trait, can you choose to remove more than one token, or is it only one per card, per trigger?

The trigger for the trait occurs once per attacking card and once per action resolving, and you (may) remove one Clout token per time the trait resolves: you may only remove one token per card per trigger.
