So per this thread, Gates of Chikushudo cannot normally copy Yuko, because she is not a created spirit. However, what happens if I egg my own Yuko? Can I then target the clone with Gates to get a permanent clone? Furthermore, does the invest trigger for either of them? My guess would be yes, as I believe it states somewhere in the CR that any effect that brings a personality/holding into play is considered recruiting, regardless of if it's explicitly worded that way or not.

Edit: I didn't read the CR on recruiting well enough the first time to notice that creating cards does not count as recruiting, so it appears you wouldn't be able to invest, but the original question still stands.
