rule questions?
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

1. You may only Proclaim a Personality with your Clan alignment, although certain Personalities will give you honor when they enter play via an ability (Otomo Demiyah) or trait (Iweko Shibatsu).
2. In order to take an action without Presence, it must have the Absent keyword. The Home keyword will allow you to use the ability from home, but you must still have a Personality in the battle.
