I need a clarification regarding "Shadowlands card" wording in a Legacy format. More precisely, does a Shadowlands trait define a card as "Shadowlands card"? Let's take the following example:
Say I have a shugenja with Seek the Stain spell attached. During the next two turns, I hand out Shadowlands trait to two of my opponent's personalities. On the third turn, Iris Festival is revealed in one of my provinces.
Question: Will the two personalities with the Shadowlands trait, gained through Seek the Stain, be destroyed?
Seek the Stain (Spell) Open: Bow this card and target another player's Personality: You find out his dark secret. Give him Kolat, Ninja, or Shadowlands.
Iris Festival (Event) Destroy all Shadowlands cards.

There is no difference between "a Shadowlands card" and "a card with the Shadowlands keyword". These terms are equivalent and interchangeable.
That said, effects have a default duration of "until the turn ends". Seek the stain does NOT give out Shadowlands "permanently" (compare to, say, Soul's Sacrifice), so the Iris Festival in your example would not destroy those Personalities, as they would have lost the keyword by the time it resovled.
