It seem Hirariko (basic)'s Oracle text is just a copy of the printed text... what are "special effects"?
Also, why is Hirariko xp's battle ability "once per battle"? Wasn't the original card from the "any number of times per turn" days?
Hirariko basic:
Ninja After Hirariko enters play: Lose 2 honor. Items provide no bonuses or special effects in a duel against Hirariko.
Hirariko xp:
Duelist • Experienced • Ninja • Unique After Hirariko enters play: Lose 4 Honor. Items give no bonuses and create no effects in a duel against Hirariko. Battle: Once per battle, target an enemy Personality whose Gold Cost is greater than his Chi plus Personal Honor: Hirariko duels him. Destroy the duel's loser.

"Special Effects" are those created by CGI or camera tricks to give the illusion that the Items aren't there...
