L5R CCG Rules board, 8 June 2013 to 9 June 2013

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

When you use the open ability of the false ring of fire to put it into play, can you immediately bow it for its interrupt to reduce the honour loss?

Brook Cunningham (rules official), 9 June 2013

No.

Interrupts to an action can only be taken before the action's effects resolve. By the time FRoF's Open's effect puts it into play, it's too late to Interrupt its action.
