Bayushi Hamada gets +1F for each Crab personality or courtier on your side, if i play him in a yasuki deck with say 5 crab merchant courtiers in play how much force would Hamada gain? +5 or +10?

That's not Hamada's accurate text. It's the following:
Crab Clan players may control Hamada. Hamada has +1F for each of your Personalities who is Crab Clan or a Courtier.
If you have 5 Crab Clan Courtiers, Hamada gets +5F, since you have 5 personalities that are Crab Clan "or" a Courtier. You don't count the keywords, you count the Personalities ("for each of your Personalities") that fulfil either condition.
