Remorseful Seppuku vs Feign Death

L5R CCG Rules board, 12 February 2013 to 13 February 2013

A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.

Remorseful Seppuku: Limited: Target a dishonorable Samurai: He commits seppuku.

Feign Death: Reaction: After the resolution of an action or a battle that destroyed a performing Personality you own: Bring him into play (in your home), ignoring costs and Honor Requirement. Bow him. Dishonor him. Lose 2 Honor.

Since the Seppuku is coming from Remorseful Seppuku (the card/action that created it), Feign Death still works in bringing said personality back into play, right?

Feign Death doesn't negate the destruction, and you're right in that the destruction comes from Remorseful Seppuku, so it's ok in my book.
