Kyuden Kitsune • Experienced and dislodge the foe
A topic from AEG's L5R CCG Rules forum, copied for Oracle of the Void from a copy of the forum saved in October 2015, so pages it didn't save are missing. Players' names are left out; the rules officials are named. Rulings are as they stood on these dates; later rulings, the rulebooks and the Rules Archive may differ.
This is a case of several simultaneous occurrences (movements) generating a timing conflict, as explained here. Since Kyuden Kitsune XP negates only one movement, the first one, it has to be determined which one would be the first and therefore be negated, while all other movements still happen.
The active player chooses which of his personalities' movements is considered to be the first of them, and therefore negated by Kyuden Kitsune XP.
From the CR (below the priority sequence): In steps A and B, the active player determines the order of conflicting triggered occurrences as they are happening, not beforehand. The active player must do so in such a way that each of those occurrences happens exactly once.
Example: Two personalities destroyed simultaneously in battle resolution, A and B, each have a Reaction or trait that trigger before they are destroyed. The active player decides whether Reactions and traits triggered by A’s destruction happen before or after Reactions and traits triggered by B’s destruction. Edit: Grammar fix
