Card Title Burning Dreams Keywords Unique Text Any player who controls the Imperial Favor discards it. Until your Events Phase two turns from now begins, actions that discard the Imperial Favor as a cost have their effects negated if they target a Nonhuman Personality. Until the game ends, Nonhumans may not perform Political actions.
My question is If my opponent targets a personality with Accidental confession preventing them from assigning, say in this instance Ninube Onchi who at that stage is human, and after this I use Damning Ceremony or even sly deceiver to turn Onchi into a nonhuman, will that then negate the effects of Accidental confession as it discards the favor?

For the purpose of Burning Dreams, the determination of whether a targeted Personality is Nonhuman is done when the targeting occurs. It does not matter if the Personality later gains Nonhuman.
