Relating to no. 3 answer, Isawa Suma has this wording reflected under the Oracle: "Before a Spell attached to Suma is destroyed by its own costs or effects: Instead, permanently give Suma a Chi penalty equal to half the Spell's Focus Value, rounded up; if the destruction was a cost, it is considered paid." Does that mean the chi penalty is a replacement effect because of "Instead" and not a cost?

Yes. That's why Suma can combo with The Emerald Armor and "not" get the Chi penalty, but his effect still carries through and the spell isn't destroyed.
thanks.
Hi, are there rules for 20f extended regarding weapons like Justice of the crane if they are errata'd for Kensai. Some of the weapons like Versatile Blade were reprinted with On Handed text while Justice of the Crane didnt. It also doesnt have two handed so Kensai can equip 2?
Sorry, it works in different way.
Thank you. Very informative
Does the "AND" word on Green Nightshade Blend mean a personality needs to have all 3 kinds of token for it to be destroyed? "Limited: Target two Personalities: You may transfer one or more tokens from one to the other. Destroy each of the two that now has a Fire, Poison, and Sake token."
And here, for those who aren't in the OotV Discord: If only one were required, it would say "or".
