She does not redirect the targeting requirements (highest family honour). She simply changes who suffers the honour loss effect. @Jeremy Sumerlin sorry, did not see your reply before I posted. 😊

If you have the favor at the start of your turn and don't at the end, do you draw at the start and end? If you don't have the favor at the start and gain it before you end, do you not get to draw at all? Basically, is the trait a single check at the start of your turn, or two seperate checks one at start one at end?
Yes, yes, and the second one.
How does rout effect a personality with Tsuko's heart if Rout targets the follower?
Movement fails, attachment can still be destroyed
I wasn't sure what the order of operations was since it's technically at the same time
It's the order on the card, but if it depended on the movement it would be worded more like Dark Ring of Earth xp
Oh thats fair... order on the card
Isnt it weird that a samurai personality can attach only 1 armor and 1 weapon but a shugenja can attach limitless spells? I remember in older editions they have a Chi limit, is that a thing that can be on the table to be implementes again?
spells often either bow the Shugenja or destroy themselves to be used, and don't usually give force bonuses. (Well, they used to not). That's also not a huge disadvantage. There are plenty of other items that aren't weapons or armor.
Are you talking about Shattered Empire edition? cause there are a ton of spells that give Strenght bonuses without bowing the shugenja
and the other items (not armor or weapons) usually are for utility like gaining honor and such
I dont want to enter a debate, was just asking if that Chi limit is something the developers are thinking on bringing back at some point
Call the Inferno used to give force to the Shugenja as a trait, but then it got nerfed and you have to bow it (and lose the range attack) to get the force bonus.
Tremors required the shugenja to be both earth and fire to give the force bonus and there are not tons of shugenja who fulfill that condition
The new Yami of the Void also gives force bonus only by attaching but it is also a weapon, so it is not limited to shugenja.
Other spells that increase the shugenja's force require to consume a battle action to use the spell's ability
(Only Shugenja can attach Spells.)
Oh, I see. Still since it's also a weapon I thought it allowed you to bypass that restriction
Nope; it's still always also a Spell.
no, it just prevents the shugenja from attaching other weapons
Got it, got it
Thanks for the clarification
(I wouldn't say "just", but chiefly, yes.)
Wait so attachments are good cards?
